The book takes the complexity of microbiology, chemistry, production procedures and policies of wine making and presents each component in a thorough yet approachable way. Readers get a deep dive into topics such as winemaking equipment, various specific components found in grapes and wine, fermentation activity, and analysis of the final product - wine. The reader is left in awe and full of respect for the breadth (and craft) of turning grapes into wine. An investment piece, the range and depth of information coupled with the high quality color photos are worth the purchase.
